# Upgrading OneSpan Sign Embedded Integration for Microsoft SharePoint

To upgrade to the latest version of OneSpan Sign for SharePoint 2013 :

1. Go to Central Administration > System Settings > Manage farm solutions.
2. If you are upgrading from version 1.0 to the latest version, retract and then remove the following two solutions:
  - `eSignLive.com.esl.ui.wsp`
  - `eSignLive.com.esl.webservices.wsp`
3. If you are upgrading from version 1.1 to the latest version, retract and then remove the following two solutions, where v1_x represents the latest available version:
  - `eSignLive.com.esl.ui.v1_x.wsp`
  - `eSignLive.com.esl.webservices.wsp`
4. Open the script `removeEventReceiver` provided by OneSpan Sign. Replace the URL on the first line with the URL of the SharePoint site on which you installed your older version of OneSpan Sign Embedded Integration for Microsoft SharePoint. Save the script, and then run it on a SharePoint 2013 Management Shell.
5. Add and install WSP by performing Step 5 of the procedure [Installing the Solution](/v1/docs/installing-onespan-sign-embedded-integration-for-microsoft-sharepoint).
6. Configure language settings by performing Step 11 of the procedure [Installing the Solution](/v1/docs/installing-onespan-sign-embedded-integration-for-microsoft-sharepoint).
7. Perform Step 15 of the procedure [Installing the Solution](/v1/docs/installing-onespan-sign-embedded-integration-for-microsoft-sharepoint) (deactivate and then activate various features).
