Actual transaction processing by your backend server is done after the user's confirmation has been authenticated. The steps in this section configure the Authentication Server to support transactions. For an overview of the transaction confirmation process and what the client app is responsible for doing, see *Transaction* in the *Developer Guide* for [Android](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-implementing-authentication-in-your-app-1#transaction), [iOS](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-implementing-authentication-in-your-app-1#transaction) and [Web](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-web-implementing-authentication-in-your-web-app-1#transaction). The DigipassONE App SDK for Web also supports Secure Payment Confirmation (SPC), which is built on the Web Authentication API. For web app implementation details, refer to [*Invoking Secure Payment Confirmation in the Developer Guide*](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-web-implementing-authentication-in-your-web-app-1#invoking-secure-payment-confirmation) for Web. [Step 5](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-step-4-optional-configure-the-policy-details-for-spc-authentication-1) below is required to configure the Authentication Server to support SPC. Formerly Digipass S3 software. Formerly known as Digipass S3 Web App SDK, Digipass S3 JavaScript App SDK.
