# Post-installation

## Introduction

After you complete and verify your installation, the following tasks are required in order to operate your deployment:

- [Create the first Admin user](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-create-an-administrator-for-the-server-admin-console-1): Use a command-line utility to create the first Super Admin. You can then create subsequent administrative users with the Admin Console.
- [Test your installation using an app](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-testing-your-installation-1)
- [Set up health checks](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-setting-up-health-checks-1)
- [Download MDS3 metadata](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-downloading-authenticator-metadata-from-mds-1) and import it

Be aware that the Authentication Server's [initial response times might be briefly higher](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-a-note-about-initial-response-times-1).

If you use OneSpan's Passport app, you must configure FIDO OOB and push notification. See [Out-of-band](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-configure-an-out-of-band-authentication-method-1)*.*
