# Overriding the authenticator prompt for iOS

Authenticators display a specific prompt depending on the operation:

| **Operation** | **Prompt / Key** |
| --- | --- |
| Authentication | Sign-in to your account |
| Registration | Setup secure sign-in |
| Transaction | Approve transaction shown on previous screen |

You can replace these prompts by customizing the nnl.uaf_asm.bundle. For more information on this see [Localizing](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-packaging-options-1#localizing).

You can replace the prompt at runtime by passing in an extension during the FIDO operation. To test this functionality, uncomment the following code in the file TAUtils.swift in Tutorial App:

```swift
SampleExtensions.usePromptTextFunctionality(ext: &extensions, 
                              withPrompt: "Prompt text for authentication")
```
