# Step 7. Verify that IP address is sent and a FIDO 3DS blob is returned

Skip this step if you don't have any rules that use an IP address in their condition or return a FIDO 3DS data blob.

DigipassONE authentication software comes with API Server plugins that can send the IP address and return a FIDO 3DS data blob. This information is provided by the API Server's [IP Address Extractor plugin](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-nok-nok-authentication-api-1#ip-address-extractor-plugin) and [EMV 3DS Generator plugin](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-nok-nok-authentication-api-1#emv-3ds-generator-plugin), respectively.

The IP Address Extractor plugin supports proxy servers that use the following commonly-used request header types which forward the client IP address to the backend server:

- Forwarded
- X-Forwarded-For
- WL-Proxy-Client-IP
- X-Real-IP

If your proxy server doesn't use any of the above request headers, you can modify the IP Address's configuration object. See [IP Address Extractor Plugin](/dpoa/docs/s3suite94-nok-nok-authentication-api-1#ip-address-extractor-plugin).

Verify that the plugins that you need are active using the Admin Console.

1. Login using an administrative user who can manage the tenant in the Admin Console. Navigate to **Configuration > API Server > Session Plugins**.
2. Check the **Status** column for these plugins.
