# Transient Data Purge

## Purge

Syntax

```plaintext
./nnl-mgmt.sh transient_data purge [-batchsize <batchsize>]
```

| **Parameter** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| batchsize | Optional. Defaults to 10,000 if no value is provided. The maximum number of records to delete in one iteration. |

Description

Purges all expired transient data. purge deletes records iteratively, deleting a maximum of batchsize records per iteration.

Example

```plaintext
./nnl-mgmt.sh transient_data purge
```

The following command purges expired transient data and specifies that 5000 records, rather than the default of 10,000, are deleted in each iteration:

```plaintext
./nnl-mgmt.sh transient_data purge -batchsize 5000
```
