Mobile Authenticator Studio supports the upgrade to a higher version. We have carefully considered the customer's user experience and implemented migration procedures that will have the least degree of inconvenience possible while ensuring the greatest security and authentication capabilities. The migration will improve the overall user experience.
Mobile Authenticator Studio supports the migration of all previous versions, from both, series 4.x and 5.x, to the current version, 5.6.0.
Mobile Authenticator versions before 4.30.9 are no longer supported. You are free to validate if migration scenarios are successful, however, we recommend that you update to at least version 4.30.9 before migrating to any 5.x version of Mobile Authenticator Studio.
Migrating from Mobile Authenticator Studio 4.x to 5.x
When your institution upgrades from Mobile Authenticator Studio 4.x to 5.x, your customers will encounter some prompts to migrate from the old process to the new one. The migration process is triggered each time when a non-migrated account is used for an operation.
If no user account is activated for the Mobile Authenticator Studio app, no migration is needed.
