Release Notes OneSpan Mobile Portal 25.R22 - December 2025

A file naming convention has been introduced for mobile app files that are uploaded to the OneSpan Mobile Portal for shielding. According to the convention rules, the file name must not contain any of the following:

• Special characters:

  • {

  • }

  • ^

  • %

  • ?

  • `

  • "

  • ~

  • <

  • >

  • #

  • |

  • ×

  • ÷

• Space character

• Printable characters

• Control characters

• Punctuation characters

• Symbol characters

If the user tries using a file name or uploading an app with a file name that contains any of the above characters, the portal will display a relevant error message to warn the user.

The OneSpan Mobile Portal security has been enhanced. Users receive pre-sign URLs to upload an app to shield or download the shielded app. The validity period of these pre-sign URLs has been reduced to minimize the potential for attackers to intercept the process and illegally up- or download app files and is no longer 120 minutes.
