Miscellaneous functions

The Key Management Tool includes additional functionalities that are not part of the export or import ceremony:

• List available keys

• Delete keys

List available keys

To list the keys available on the host

• On the Key Management Tool main screen, select (1): List all the keys available.

The following properties are available for each key:

• Key name

• Key ID

• Key type (AES128, AES256, DES2, or DES3)

The following additional properties are available for keys created with Key Management Tool:

• Key role (KEK, storage key, transport key, or undefined key)

• KCV of the key

• Date of creation

Delete Keys

This function deletes a key on the host.

To delete a key

1. On the Key Management Tool main screen, select (2): Delete a Key.

2. Select the ID of the key to delete. If necessary, type l to list all the keys. The selected key is listed with its properties.

3. Type Y to confirm the delete action. The key is deleted.
