The data flow in an Authentication Suite Server SDK integration requires the following services:

  • The DPX Import Service is in charge of importing DPX files to populate the database with the Digipass data model.

  • The Digipass Dynamic Authentication Service and Digipass e-Signature Validation Service are in charge of authenticating OTPs and verifying signatures.

  • The Digipass Management Service groups management functionalities for administrators or help desk.

  • The Software Digipass Activation Service is in charge of generating activation data to send parameter settings and secrets to the Digipass software. Usage of this service is applicable only in case of software Digipass authenticators compliant with a standard one-step activation (in the context of the single device licensing; for more information, refer to Single-device licensing).

  • The Digipass Multi-Device Activation Service groups functionalities for multi-device two-step activation of compliant Digipass authenticators (in the context of multi-device licensing; for more information, refer to Multi-device licensing). The Digipass multi-device activation is a different process than standard software Digipass activation.

  • The Digipass Secure Channel Service groups functionalities for operations based on the Secure Channel protocol for compliant Digipass authenticators. The Secure Channel is applicable only to certain Digipass authenticators (e.g: Digipass 760, some software Digipass authenticators supporting multi-device activation and the Secure Channel, Digipass GO 215, some Digipass 875 smart card readers).
