Installation requirements

Host machine

The Docker Compose CDT package and the Kubernetes CDT package may be used with any one of the following system configurations to build and run DigipassONE images. You may also use one of these environments to build your Docker images and then run them on any other Docker runtime environment such as AWS ECS or Google Cloud.

  • The CDT for Docker Compose requires the following Docker resources:

    • 4 CPU, 6 GB RAM and 100 GB disk

  • The CDT Helm charts use the Ingress-Nginx controller for routing requests to Kubernetes services. For production deployments, DigipassONE recommends using Ingress controllers or load balancers native to the deployment platform.  

  • Also for production deployments, ensure that Kubernetes components and other artifacts are up-to-date from a security perspective.

Rocky Linux

  • Linux instance running Rocky Linux 9.4

  • Docker Engine (Docker CE) 25.0.3 or later

  • The CDT for Kubernetes running on Rocky Linux requires the following Kubernetes resources:

    • 4 CPU, 12 GB RAM and 100 GB disk

MacOS

  • MacOS: Tahoe 26.2

  • Rancher Desktop 1.21 or later.

  • The CDT for Kubernetes running on MacOS requires the following Kubernetes resources:

    • 4 CPU, 8 GB RAM and 100 GB disk

Guest machine

The Cloud Deployment Toolkit deploys the DigipassONE Servers on RedHat UBI 9. If you need to use a different guest operating system, you can use your own custom container base image. See Use Your Own Images in Install using Docker and in Install using Kubernetes.
