For FIDO authentication, you first need to register your Digipass FX7 authenticator with the relevant service. After successful registration, you can sign in to the service.
FIDO operations are accessible via compatible browsers.
Some systems do only support FIDO U2F, but not FIDO2, in which case some features, such as user verification (PIN) and discoverable credentials, will not be available. This is, for example, the case when NFC is used in combination with Android.

Registration and authentication workflows vary depending on the options that are used by the browser and the platform.
Before you begin
Before you can get started with FIDO authentication, ensure that you have completed the initial authenticator setup (see Initial authenticator setup).
At the start of the registration process, the system might automatically initiate the PIN setup procedure if no PIN has been set in the authenticator.
