Restarting and shutting down

If OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance is shut down incorrectly, it can get corrupted. Use only one of the following methods to power off or restart OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance (in the order of preference):

  1. Use the system actions of the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Configuration Tool (via System > Actions).
  2. Use the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Rescue Tool (see OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Rescue Tool ).
  3. Use the ON/OFF switch or the RESET button on the device.

Restart and shut down buttons are also provided on the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Configuration Tool status screen.
