Hardware security module setup

A hardware security module (HSM) can be integrated with OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance to provide an extra layer of security to data storage.

OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance supports the following hardware security modules:

  • Thales ProtectServer 3 HSM devices
  • Thales ProtectServer 2 HSM devices

If you plan to integrate OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance with a supported hardware security module, the HSM must be installed and work correctly before you install OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance.
