# Configuring OneSpan Authentication Server for wireless authentication

To configure OneSpan Authentication Server for wireless networking

1. Log on to the Administration Web Interface.
2. Create a copy or a child policy of the IDENTIKEY Local Authentication policy.
3. Select POLICIES > List and select the respective policy created.
4. Switch to the RADIUS tab and click EDIT.
5. Set Supported protocols to Secure and click SAVE.
6. Create a new client component (via CLIENTS > Register) with the following settings:
  - Client Type: RADIUS Client
  - Location: IP address of the wireless access point
  - Policy ID: If this is the only wireless access point used, link to the policy just created. If this will NOT be the only wireless access point used, see [Multiple wireless access points](/sec/docs/oas-ag-configuring-multiple-wireless-access-points-3-28).
  - Protocol ID: RADIUS
  - Shared Secret: The shared secret used by the wireless access point (see [Configuring wireless access points](/sec/docs/oas-ag-configuring-wireless-access-points-3-28)).
