Hardware security module setup

A hardware security module (HSM) can be integrated with OneSpan Authentication Server to provide an extra layer of security to data storage.

OneSpan Authentication Server supports the following hardware security modules:

• Entrust nShield 5c (Linux only)

• Entrust nShield 5s (Linux only)

• Entrust nShield Connect XC (Linux only)

• Entrust nShield Solo XC (Linux only)

• Thales ProtectServer 3 series

If you plan to integrate OneSpan Authentication Server with a supported hardware security module, the HSM must be installed and work correctly before you install OneSpan Authentication Server.
