# MDC message settings

OneSpan Authentication Server offers different message types that can be used to deliver OTP values and signature data to the user via MDC.

The available message types are:

- Virtual Mobile Authenticator message
- Virtual signature message
- Offline activation data message

The settings for each message type can be edited via the Administration Web Interface in the global configuration message templates (except for push notifications, which are configured via policy!).

The messages can be sent via SMS, voice message, email, or push notifications. Several templates are defined for these delivery methods in the global server configuration:

- SMS message template
- Voice message template
- Email header name
- Email header value
- Email subject
- Email message template
- Push notification message template (via policy!)

For more information about MDC message templates and their settings, refer to the OneSpan Authentication Server Administrator Reference, Section "Administration Web Interface fields".
