To configure settings for each SMS gateway, you will need the following gateway details:
- Protocol to use in connecting to the gateway.
- An address string and port to use in connecting to the gateway.
- The path and file name of a certificate file, if required.
- The required message parameters and content type.
- The request method (GET or POST) required by the gateway.
Alternatively, you can also use the following:
- A customized configuration file ordered from your OneSpan supplier. This will need to be imported using the Maintenance Wizard.
- User name and password for the gateway account.
When setting up a mail server, you only need a user name and password (if required) for an email account on the mail server.
If you are using SSL for connections to the mail server or SMS gateway, you will also need the SSL certificate to use and (if required) certificate authority to set up MDC.
