Using Core Dumps on Linux

On Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS, you may need to disable the GPG signature check in the configuration file of the abrt-action-save-package-data tool to create and store core dumps containing OneSpan Authentication Server memory and process information.

After a dump has been performed, the dump file will contain unencrypted sensitive data. To be GDPR-compliant, we recommend to encrypt the file, folder, or disk containing this sensitive information.

To disable the GPG signature check in abrt-action-save-package-data

  • Open abrt-action-save-package-data.conf, which is located in /etc/abrt, and set the following option:

    OpenGPGCheck = no
