# Tracing levels

There are three tracing levels available when configuring tracing from the Configuration Utility:

- Basic
- Full
- Debug

The message types recorded by each level are listed in [Table: Tracing message levels](/sec/docs/oas-aref-tracing-levels-3-28#Tab_TracingMessageLevels).

Debug tracing level is only for use when OneSpan Customer Support have specifically requested its use.
