# Define Filters (dialog)

The Define Filters dialog allows you to define, configure, and apply message filters.

| Field name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Filters | List of filters that are currently defined. The All Records filter is a default filter that cannot be edited or deleted. |
| New | Click this button to create a new filter with blank default values (see [Creating new filters](/sec/docs/oas-av-csh-creating-new-filters-3-28)). |
| Copy | Click this button to create a new filter based on the one currently selected in the Filters list (see [Creating new filters](/sec/docs/oas-av-csh-creating-new-filters-3-28)). |
| Edit | Click this button to modify the configuration of the selected filter (see [New/Edit Filter (dialog)](/sec/docs/oas-av-csh-newedit-filter-dialog-3-28)). |
| Delete | Click this button to delete the selected filter. |
