# New Audit Source – ODBC Database (dialog)

The New Audit Source – ODBC Database dialog allows you to define a new ODBC audit message source.

| Field name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Display Name | Descriptive name for the ODBC database connection. |
| DSN | The data source name for the respective database. |
| User ID | The user ID of an administrative database account to access the ODBC database. |
| Password | The password of the administrative database account. |
| Store User ID and Password | Select this checkbox to permanently save the audit source details. |
