# New Audit Source – Text File (dialog)

The New Audit Source – Text File dialog allows you to define a new audit message source based on an audit text file. Several text files can be collated as a single audit message source.

| Field name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Display Name | Descriptive name for the audit source. This should assist you to remember the source and time period of the audit messages it contains. |
| Files | This list contains all text files from which audit messages will be retrieved. |
| Remove | Click this button to remove one or more files from the Files list. |
| Add | Click this button to add one or more files to the Files list. |
