# Add/Edit Engine (dialog)

| Field name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Display Name | The display name used to display the authentication engine in the Available Engines list. |
| Library File | This is the full path and file name of the binary file of the authentication engine. |
| Protocol | The protocol name to be used with this authentication engine. This name must be defined in the policy that is used with the authentication engine. |
| Custom Fields | Use these fields to define and pass parameters to your custom authentication engine if required. |
