The Authenticate Plugin Engine dialog allows you to test a custom authentication engine. This is useful if it is new or has been changed.

Field nameDescription
User IDThe user ID to use to test the authentication engine.
DomainOptional. The domain the test user belongs to.
PasswordThe valid password of the test user ID.

Click Authenticate to test the authentication engine. Any errors will be displayed in the lower half of the dialog.
