You can define an authentication engine for back-end authentication via the OneSpan Authentication Server Configuration Utility.

To define an authentication engine for back-end authentication via the OneSpan Authentication Server Configuration Utility

  1. Start the OneSpan Authentication Server Configuration Utility.
  2. Switch to the Engines page.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Fill in the Add Plugin Engine dialog and click OK.

    The new authentication engine is now listed in the Available Engines list of the Plugin Engines page.

  5. Select the new authentication engine and click Test.

  6. In the Authenticate Plugin Engine dialog, type the user credentials to test the authentication engine and click Authenticate.

    A notification will display whether the authentication engine could be initialized successfully.

  7. Click OK to close the Authenticate Plugin Engine dialog.
  8. Click OK to save and close the OneSpan Authentication Server Configuration Utility.
