# Using answers files

# Using answers files

After installing OneSpan Authentication Server, the Installation Wizard will automatically launch. To use the answers file, skip the Installation Wizard and launch the Configuration Wizard from a terminal window with the ‑‑import parameter.

To use an answers file

1. Open a terminal window.
2. Type one of the following commands:

ikconfigwizardgui --import=path/filename.ini

-OR-

ikconfigwizardconsole --import=path/filename.ini

Ensure that all the edits have been completed, as any value that is in the answers file will be used to configure OneSpan Authentication Server.
