# Verifying system requirements

Ensure that your host machine complies with the system requirements for this release of OneSpan Authentication Server (see [System requirements](/sec/docs/oas-iglnx-system-requirements-3-28)).

If required, perform a distribution upgrade before upgrading OneSpan Authentication Server.
