# Monitoring

OneSpan Authentication Server provides a couple of performance and system monitoring functions.

- [Performance monitoring](/sec/docs/oas-ag-performance-monitoring-3-28). This allows you to monitor specific parts of OneSpan Authentication Server processing to get performance statistics.
- [Health check](/sec/docs/oas-ag-health-check-3-28). This monitors the OneSpan Authentication Server service/daemon and verifies if it is available and working properly.
- [System monitoring](/sec/docs/oas-ag-system-monitoring-3-28). This allows you to monitor OneSpan Authentication Server processing with SNMP to provide notifications when specific events occur.
