All users requiring authentication by OneSpan Authentication Server must have respective user accounts created in OneSpan Authentication Server for the following:
Assign authenticators
Store user-specific parameters
Store user attributes
Assign administrative privileges
Overrule policy settings at user level
User accounts can be created, managed, and searched for via the Administration Web Interface (see Administration Web Interface).
A user account can be created via the Administration Web Interface by doing one of the following:
Importing users from a file, either single records or in bulk (see Importing a user account).
Manually creating user records using Create User in the Administration Web Interface (see Creating a user account).
Dynamically during the authentication process using dynamic user registration (DUR) (see Creating a user account using DUR).
Via LDAP synchronization. User information on OneSpan Authentication Server can be synchronized with external LDAP databases by using the LDAP Synchronization Tool. For more information, refer to the LDAP Synchronization Tool Administrator Guide.
