DIGIPASS Expiration Settings
Propagate expiration time

Determines if the start time and the expiration time of an authenticator license should be propagated to the linked authenticator instances. It also influences how you can set the start time and/or the expiration time:

  • If set to Yes and you update the time values of an authenticator license, the start time and expiration time of all linked authenticator instances are updated accordingly.

  • If set to Yes and you update the time values of an authenticator instance, the new expiration time of the authenticator instance must predate the expiration time of the authenticator license. If the respective authenticator license has no expiration time set, the Propagate expiration time setting has no effect.

  • If set to No, you can set the time values of authenticator licenses and authenticator instances independently to any time in the future.

Note that this setting is only evaluated when you update the start time and/or the expiration time in the authenticator properties or set them explicitly using Set Expiration. The start time and the expiration time of an authenticator license is always propagated if you create a new authenticator instance via provisioning.

Affects authenticator licenses and instances (multi-device licensing (MDL)) only.

Supported values:

  • Yes
  • No

Default value: No
