When traffic begins to flow to the Authentication Server, initial response times may be briefly higher than subsequent response times. After the Server warms up, the response times remain consistent. Server warmup involves loading configurations, policies and rulesets from the database into an in-memory cache, bytecode optimization by the compiler, class loading, connection pool initialization, and other one-time operations at startup.
