Introduction
This document describes the Software Development Kit (SDK) that enables developers to create an Authenticator Specific Module (ASM) that can be used standalone by a FIDO UAF Client (referred to as “the Client”) or embedded into a mobile application in conjunction with the Digipass S3 App SDK (referred to as "the App SDK"). By reading this document, a developer will learn how to develop a FIDO UAF-supported method of authentication for incorporation into an Android mobile application using the App SDK.
Who Should Read This Guide
This guide is intended for an intermediate Android developer who already has strong working knowledge of Java, Android Studio, Gradle, and the Android APIs. In addition, you should be familiar with the use of REST APIs, HTTP, TLS, the FIDO UAF 1.2 specification, and the FIDO UAF Authenticator-Specific Module API.
