Plugin configuration

A plugin configuration is structured data in JSON format. Each plugin can have one or more configuration files located in the configuration/<tenant_id>/<plugin_types> directory. The configuration filename must have a .json extension.

The class that implements an API Server plugin must provide a constructor method with the following signature:

public <plugin_manager_class_name>(IConfigurationManager configurationManager, String tenantID, String objectType)

Where:

• configurationManager is a reference to the configuration manager object.

• tenantID is the tenant identification name.

• objectType specifies the plugin object type. The API Server provides three types of plugin objects: SessionPlugin, TransactionPlugin, and PolicyPlugin.

The configuration manager provides the following two methods:

boolean isObjectCurrent(String tenantID, String objectType, String objectName, long stamp);

and

ConfigObject getObject(String tenantID, String objectType, String objectName);

Where:

• isObjectCurrent returns true if the required configuration object is recent, in other words, the object’s stamp is more recent than the stamp parameter provided by the caller.

• getObject returns a structure {String data, int stamp} representing data and correspondent stamp for the specified tenantID, objectType, and objectName.
