Upgrading from 9.1.0 to 9.2.0

A new sessionData parameter is added to the MethodUIFactory.createMethodUI() function. See Client API Docs for MethodUIFactory interface for more details. If your application has a custom implementation of the MethodUIFactory interface, update the createMethodUI() function implementation and:

• Add the new sessionData parameter.

• Pass the sessionData parameter when calling the createMethodUI() function of the default factory.

• If your implementation creates an instance of ExternalAuthMethodUI, OOBMethodUI or OtpMethodUI classes, then pass the sessionData parameter as the last argument to any of these three constructors. See Client API Docs for ExternalAuthMethodUI, OOBMethodUI or OtpMethodUI for more details.

The onGetCredential() function in the interface IExternalAuthLiveData has a new, required additionalErrorInfo parameter. If your application implements the interface IExternalAuthLiveData, add that parameter to your implementation of onGetCredential(). See Client API Docs for details on how to use the parameter additionalErrorInfo.

If you replaced the Try Passwordless UI in the previous App SDK, then you defined a class that implements the ITryFidoUiFactory interface. This interface now requires an additional method createTryHybridUi(). See SampleTryFidoUiFactory in the file js/samples.js for an example implementation in Tutorial App. See Client API Docs for ITryFidoUiFactory interface for more details.
