Hotfix 2

September 10, 2026

iOS App SDK Version: 9.5.0.141

New in this Version

Quick Authentication is now supported by AdaptiveUI.authenticate().

  • Previous behavior

    • AdaptiveUI.authenticate() would skip Quick Authentication due to authentication starting in AUTO_ANY mode by default.

  • New behavior

    • All possible value combinations of EXTRA_KEY_AUTO_START and EXTRA_KEY_SIGN_IN_QUICK_MODE are now passed to AdaptiveUI.authenticate() so StateAuto is not automatically triggered.

    • AutoStart modes have been updated to start authentication in StateAuto.

Hotfix 1

May 7, 2026

iOS App SDK Version: 9.5.0.137

Issues resolved in this version

There was a duplicate symbol issue for customers that use the third-party MBProgressHUD library, which caused build errors.

  • Previous Behavior

    • The nnl_util.xcframework referred to the MBProgressHUDRoundedButton class, causing duplicate symbol errors for client apps that depend on the third-party MBProgressHUD library.

  • New Behavior

    • All identifiers that start with "MBProgressHUD" are renamed with the "nnl" prefix to eliminate symbol collisions in client apps that depend on the MBProgressHUD library.

    • Previous Behavior: Passport app cannot delete a passkey that it previously registered.

    • New Behavior: Passport app can delete a passkey that it previously registered.

Known Issue

Passkey registration is not working if your server uses an IPv6-only configuration. Apple drops your request if the domain record resolves to an IPv6 address only. There is a workaround that works only for enterprise users. If you receive the error below when attempting to register a passkey, consider the suggested resolution.
