Using a DIGIPASS FX authenticator for application sign-in (Windows)

This guide outlines the general process to use your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator as a sign-in method for the business applications used in your organization. The process is the same for each application in general, but may slightly vary depending on the used platform.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have added your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator as a sign-in method to the respective business application (see Adding a DIGIPASS FX series authenticator as sign-in method (Windows)).

Using a DIGIPASS FX authenticator for application sign-in

To use your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator for application sign-in on Windows

  1. Connect your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to your Windows computer (see Connecting your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator).

  2. If you already have Windows Hello Facial Recognition configured, it will indicate that you are authenticated. In this case, select More Choices.A screenshot of a computer screen  AI-generated content may be incorrect.

  4. Type the PIN that you set when you added the authenticator as sign-in option.A screenshot of a security login  AI-generated content may be incorrect.

  5. Depending on the DIGIPASS FX series authenticator, you either need to press the button or scan your fingerprint to continue.

    The text in the dialog will always read "Touch your security key", regardless of the action you need to take.

    You should now be signed in to your application.
