Registering a passkey in Cisco Duo manually

This guide provides detailed instructions on how to add a user and configure it to use a DIGIPASS FX7 authenticator in Cisco Duo.

If you are a user and received a mail from your company to register your DIGIPASS FX7 authenticator, see Completing the registration for users.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed the configuration in Cisco Duo (see Configuring Cisco Duo for passwordless authentication).

Registering a passkey in Cisco Duo

To register a user for authentication with DIGIPASS FX7 in Cisco Duo

1. Log in to the Duo Admin Panel using your administrator credentials.

   

2. Switch to Users > Manage Users.

   

3. Add a new user:

   1. Click Add User in the top right corner of the window.

   2. Type the name of the new user account, and click Add User..

   3. Type the email address and any other necessary information for the user account.

      

   4. Scroll to the bottom of the User Details page and click Save Changes.

   5. Scroll to the top of the Save Changes page and click Send Enrollment Email.

   6. The user will receive a welcome email with a link to register the new account (see Completing the registration for users).
