You can set an expiry date for specific authenticator users. This will allow you to create and manage temporary user accounts with greater ease. Once a user account is expired, OneSpan Authentication Server will automatically refuse to authenticate that user account.
Note that expired user accounts are not the same as suspended (inactive) ones. A user account expires automatically on a specified date, whereas it may be suspended anytime due to inactivity.
You can configure a temporary user account by setting an expiration date in the Administration Web Interface using the Set Expiration command (see USERS > User Account (tab)).
The Administration Web Interface provides two reports to help track user expiry:
Expired Users. Queries users whose expiration date has already passed.
Users About To Expire. Queries users who will expire within one month.
