By default, changes you make apply to your application on all platforms, languages, and regions. If you change the Application dropdown menu to Admin, then changes you make apply to the Cloud Console sign-in page, and any dialogs reached from there, for all languages and regions. Go to cloud.noknok.com to view the default Cloud Console sign-in page.
Confirm that the Select dropdown menus are set to their default values: Application, Select Platform and Select Language. The Select Region is gray because the Select Language dropdown has no selection. Whenever these three dropdown menus have their default values, you are managing the default configuration file for your application.
To customize the Cloud Console sign-in page, select Admin in the Application dropdown. To make changes for a specific platform, make a choice from the SelectPlatform dropdown menu. To make changes for a specific language and optionally a region, make a choice from the Select Language, and optionally the Select Region dropdown menu.
These choices determine which configuration file in the cloud you are modifying while you use the UI Customizer. These choices also determine where in the cloud the NNL UI Customizer stores your configuration files so that your application can access them.
At runtime, the App SDK determines the value for a specific string, image or style property by searching for the value in the following order. It stops searching when it finds a value for the property.
If it finds a value for the property in a region-specific file, it uses the region-specific value it found.
If it finds a value for the property in a language-specific file, it uses the language-specific value it found.
If it finds a value for the property in a platform-specific file, it uses the platform-specific value it found.
If it has not found a value for the property yet, then the App SDK displays your UI using the value for the property that is set in the default configuration file.
