Introduction
In Digipass S3 Software, transactions are cryptographic proof of a user's confirmation to a specific set of transaction details, such as purchasing merchandise totalling $85 or transferring $5,000 from the user's checking account to their money market account. Actual transaction processing by your backend server is done after the user's confirmation has been authenticated.
The steps in this section configure the Authentication Server to support transactions. For an overview of the transaction confirmation process and what the client app is responsible for doing, see Transaction in the Developer Guide for Android, iOS and Web.
The Digipass S3 App SDK for Javascript also supports Secure Payment Confirmation (SPC), which is built on the Web Authentication API. For web app implementation details, refer to Invoking Secure Payment Confirmation in the Developer Guide for Web. Step 5 below is required to configure the Authentication Server to support SPC.
