Creating a Template

To create a package template:

  1. On the top Navigation Menu, click Templates. Your existing templates appear under Package Templates.

  2. To create a new template, in the ribbon click New. The New OneSpan Sign Template page appears.

  3. Give the new template a Name, and optionally a Description.

  4. Optional: Associate the template with an Account or an Opportunity.

  5. Optional: Under Advanced Options, you can set:

    • Language — The package's language

    • Email Message — An email message for all signers

    • In Person Signing — Check this option if you want the signers to sign in person.

    • Review After Completion — Check this option if you want to review the package and its documents before marking it as Complete.

    • Enforce Signer Order — Check this option if you want the signers to sign in a particular order.

  6. Optional: Add one or more signers or signer placeholders to the template.

  7. Optional: Add one or more documents to the template.

  8. Click Save & Close.

You can modify the package template at any time.

To create a package template:

To create a OneSpan Sign template:

  1. Navigate to OneSpan Sign > Templates.

  2. Click New. The New OneSpan Sign Template page appears.

  3. Enter a Name and, optionally, a Description for the new template.

  4. Under Advanced Options, configure any of the following options you want:

    • Email Message: Creates an email message to be sent to all signers.

    • Convention: Specifies a OneSpan Sign Convention to be applied to the template.

    • Auto-Prepare with Text Tags: Enables the package to be automatically prepared with previously specified Text Tags.

    • Insert Dynamics CRM Values: Specifies that after the package is prepared, Text Tag values will be inserted from OneSpan Sign Embedded Integration for CRM.

    • In Person Signing: Enables in-person signing.

    • Enforce Signer Order: Enforces an order in which signers must sign the package.

    • Review After Completion: Enables the review of a package before it's marked as complete.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Add one or more documents to the template (see Adding Documents).

  7. Add one or more signers to the template (see Adding a Signer).

  8. Click Prepare to add Signature Blocks and fields to the template's documents (see Preparing Documents).

  9. Click Activate so the template can be used to create packages.

    A template can be modified as long as it's not activated.

  10. Click Save & Close.
