This guide outlines the process to enroll and use your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to sign in to Palo Alto GlobalProtect.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have the following:
Palo Alto GlobalProtect application installed
The address of your corporate VPN. Consult with your network administrator.
A working internet connection
Using a DIGIPASS FX series authenticator with Palo Alto GlobalProtect
To enroll a DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to Palo Alto GlobalProtect on first use
Connect your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to your device (see Connecting your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator).
Open the GlobalProtect application. On your Windows computer, click the GlobalProtect icon in your system tray (or notification area), usually at the bottom right of the screen.
If you are currently connected via the GlobalProtect application, click Disconnect.
In the GlobalProtect dialog, if the Portal box is empty, type the address of the corporate VPN. Click Connect to initiate the VPN connection.
Select your account and follow the instructions on the screen.
Add your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator as a sign-in method (see Adding a DIGIPASS FX authenticator as sign-in method).
To log on with a DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to Palo Alto GlobalProtect
Connect your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to your device (see Connecting your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator).
Open the GlobalProtect application. On your Windows computer, click the GlobalProtect icon in your system tray (or notification area), usually at the bottom right of the screen.
In the GlobalProtect window, click Connect to initiate the VPN connection.
Select your account and follow the instructions on the screen to sign in.
