DIGIPASS FX series authenticators allow you to securely store FIDO2-based passkeys on a portable hardware-based token that can be used to log on to Microsoft Windows using your EntraID account.
This guide outlines the process to enroll and use your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to sign in to Microsoft Windows.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have the following:
A computer with Microsoft Windows 10 version 1903 or later
A DIGIPASS FX series authenticator, for example, DIGIPASS FX7 or DIGIPASS FX Bio1
A working internet connection
A working logon to your computer
Using a DIGIPASS FX series authenticator with Microsoft Windows Logon
To enroll a DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to Microsoft Windows Logon on first use
Connect your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to your Windows computer (see Connecting your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator).
Log on to Windows with your existing credentials.
Open the Windows settings via Start > Settings.
Select Accounts > Sign-in options.
Click Security Key, then click Manage.

Add your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator as a sign-in method (see Adding a DIGIPASS FX authenticator as sign-in method).
To log on with a DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to Microsoft Windows
Connect your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator to your Windows computer (see Connecting your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator).
On the Windows Logon screen, either select your account or type your user name and click Submit.
Authenticate with your DIGIPASS FX series authenticator (see Using a DIGIPASS FX authenticator for application sign-in).
